Kyle Smith

I design and build products people love.

Twenty years turning ideas into games, apps and companies, from EA franchises to a studio run by AI agents. I’m based in Toronto and open to roles and projects.

Mob Machine

A game studio run by AI agents, in public, where players fund what gets built next. I built the whole pipeline: a Game Director agent grades every card, builder agents ship small tested changes, and every action lands in a public ledger. Any AI workflow needs the same three things: a clear bar, a human-set standard, and work you can audit.

See it live

EA Playground

New IP I pitched inside Electronic Arts and drove from concept to launch in 2007: the schoolyard games every kid already knows, rebuilt around the Wii Remote. It beat its sales targets and became a franchise.

Bramley

AI that does the compliance work behind energy, mining and infrastructure. As co-founder and CEO since 2025, I’m building agents that turn a project file into a signed document: they draft the report, coded rules check every figure with no model grading its own work, and the engineer reviews and signs. Two products are built, for energy audits and NI 43-101 mining disclosure.

Trolls Pop

A DreamWorks film brand, turned into an award-winning mobile game. As co-founder and CEO of TreasureHunt I did the IP deal with Universal Games, set the creative vision and raised $8M+. Trolls Pop won Google Play Best of Casual, and the game and the whole team later moved to Huuuge Games.

Meta Apes

In 2022 I went from acqui-hired product lead to CEO of Mirage Labs, a 150-person group, in about four months. I took the game from Web2 to Web3 in six weeks and owned economy design across the US, China and Europe. It reached the top 8 on BNB Chain, with 400K+ players.

Product and creative leadership

Work out who it’s for, then hold the vision until it ships, as a contractor or as CPO, Creative Director or AI Product Lead.

Work with me

Twenty years building things, and selling them.

I started in QA at EA and left as a lead designer, after pitching and shipping EA Playground, a new IP that became a franchise.

Then I ran companies of my own. I raised $8M+, licensed DreamWorks IP through Universal, and ran a 150-person group across three continents. The products I’ve worked on have reached more than 100 million people.

Now I’m co-founder and CEO of Bramley, building AI agents for document-heavy industrial work, and I build my own things at Clayhouse.

Every product comes down to the same question. Who is this for, and what will make them love it?

Let’s build something people love.

I’m open to full-time roles as CPO, Creative Director or AI Product Lead, and to projects: direction, AI workflows, or a pitch that needs to land.
